My passion as a therapist lies in helping people work through mental health challenges, recognize their strengths, and move toward their full potential.
I believe therapy should meet you where you are.
That is why my therapeutic approach may incorporate a variety of techniques and creative forms of expression, including music, poetry, movement, art, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology.
These approaches allow me to meet you where you are while supporting you as you uncover the obstacles that may be hindering your ability to progress through life.
I have always possessed a strong desire to help people from different age groups, backgrounds, and walks of life. My goal is not simply to help you identify what is wrong. I want to help you discover the tools and resources you can use to MOVE INTO ACTION.
There may be moments in life when disappointment, trauma, fear, anxiety, unhealthy relationships, low self-esteem, or circumstances cause you to lose sight of who you are.
But losing sight of your strength does not mean that strength is no longer there.
Sometimes you need support, encouragement, new tools, and someone who can help you see possibilities beyond your present circumstances.
I want to be instrumental in helping you reclaim your life by empowering you through hope.
As an author and poet, I also have a passion for addressing issues that affect women, youth, families, and relationships. I believe words can encourage, educate, inspire, and help create transformation.
At Hope for Transformation, my desire is for you to leave this journey with more than temporary encouragement. I want you to develop greater awareness, practical tools, confidence, and hope that you can carry with you into the next chapter of your life.
